Project Hero By: Briar Prescott Narrated by: Kirt Graves, Joel Leslie Length: 7 hrs and 23 mins Unabridged Audiobook Release date: 09-13-22 Publisher: Tantor Audio Project Hero is the first book I have read by Briar Prescott. It was a sweet, low angst story. Andy is a lovable, cuddly geek. His brilliant and loyal to fault to his best friend Falcon. Falcon sees Andy as his little brother. Andy has decided to use the summer to remake himself into someone Falcon would consider adult and want to date. Law has stepped back from playing hockey, his dream, due to health issues. He is not off the ice though. He is coaching and planning a career as a coach instead of a player. Law has the summer to get his freshmen players to pass chemistry or they will be cut from the team and lose their scholarships. When they first meet, Andy does not like Law because Falcon has a grudge against Law. From the first Law finds Andy adorable. As they work together, they become friends. Andy helps Law tutor his freshmen and Law helps Andy with his project to be Falcon's hero. The story has a happy ending for everyone. It was a relaxing, fun story. When I was offered a chance to review the book by Tantor Audio, I jumped on it. Two of my favorite narrators, Kirt Graves and Joel Leslie. Andy is adorable on the page and Joel Leslie brings that to life with his narration. His uncertainty about how to capture Falcon's attention. Law is lovely and let's Andy be Andy. If only he could convince Andy that he is prefect as he is. Both narrators do a fantastic job. Tantor Audio gave me a copy of Project Hero. I wrote an honest review after listening to it (several times).
