The Tudor Kings and Queens
by Alex Woolf Arcturus Digital Copy provided by NetGalley in exchange for honest review The Tudor Kings and Queens by Alex Woolf is a great introductory book for those wishing to learn about the Tudor Dynasty. It covers the founding of the dynasty as wells as background information on the War of the Roses that led to the Tudors capturing the throne. It covers each monarch's reign with the significant events as well as their lasting legacy. For someone who has read quite a bit of Tudor history, non-fiction as opposed to historical fiction, the book is a quick and easy read. For those first encountering the Tudors, it lays the groundwork for future exploration. I recommend it highly for those who want to separate fact from fiction, reality from Showtime, and also have a great overview of the dynasty as a whole instead of one monarch at a time.
